PROCESSIUM is an independent company founded in 2002 and located in Lyon, on the LyonTech university campus in France. The company’s teams work for the chemical, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, oil and environmental industries. They are involved in the design, development and improvement of industrial processes with the aim of identifying industrial solutions, then they validate and design the industrial units. The technological choices and the economic studies are then integrated in the processes of industrialisation as early as possible to achieve better control of the development of the processes.
PROCESSIUM also has a team that specialises in thermodynamics and physical properties. Its approach combines modelling and experimental tools. The company has laboratories dedicated to physical properties measurement (e.g., vapour pressure and liquid vapour equilibrium), chemical characterisation (e.g., support for REACH) and small-scale tests (e.g., reactions, distillations, stripping, filtration and crystallisation).
PROCESSIUM can validate its studies by conducting pilot tests on plants and also support projects during start-up/optimisation on site. Therefore, the company’s scope extends from the molecule to production.
